Saturday, May 7, will be a bit busy graduations and other activities, but we are planning a very brief get together at the Community Garden beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the garden site located at the northeast end of Williams Park. This should last 15 minutes or less and we are asking everyone who has participated so far on the project and specifically inviting our Church Family and the Keep Keith County Beautiful (KCCB) Committee. Chris Vail from KCCB will have a few words, Pete Peterson will speak very briefly about who has done things to this point and Pastor Lisa will speak. She may do a short service of Rogations (blessing of the fields).
Following the service, some planting will begin. There will be more opportunities to help plant in the upcoming days. We are still looking for some used garden hoses to borrow for the growing season. If you have any to spare, just call Pete at 308.289.0155.
